According to an article posted earlier this month by Team Arizona, the Arizona Motorcycle Safety and Awareness Foundation (AMSAF) announced a scholarship program that now makes learning to ride more affordable for Arizona residents.
In an August 9, 2016, post Team Arizona shared that The Arizona Motorcycle Safety and Awareness Foundation (AMSAF) was recently awarded a $250,000 grant from the Arizona Governor’s Office of Highway Safety (AZGOHS) to provide rider training scholarships.”
Scholarships are available to both new riders (Basic Rider Course – BRC) and those looking to enhance their skills (Basic Rider Course 2 – BRC 2). Each requires a donation with the application submission, $100 for the BRC and $50 for the BRC 2.
While the scholarship application process opens the first and third Monday of each month to residents of various counties, at this writing scholarships were being accepted for residents of all Arizona counties.
